ESFW provides a perfect location for corporate team building events and functions. We are proud to offer a number of meeting areas, scenarios and opportunities for small and large organisations alike.

Given our tranquil location in the Newliston Estate, The Edinburgh School of Food & Wine also offers a perfect opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the corporate environment

Our corporate client list is both long and varied, welcoming teams from across the UK to work, learn and bond in a well-equipped and relaxed environment.

The Cook-In Competition

A fun and innovative way to bring your team together, our Cook-In Competition consists of short demonstrations of each course, at which point the team will re-create the dishes together.

We have plenty of team building tricks up our sleeves to ensure that your colleagues are put under a little pressure, making sure they are thinking on their feet!

The Restaurant Challenge

If a challenge is what you and your team are looking for, this is it.

The Restaurant Challenge gives the teams an exclusive chance to experience the frenetic pace of a restaurant kitchen. With your colleagues, friends or employees patiently waiting in our Bell Tower Room, the pressure is on to produce great food- quickly!

Our chefs are completely comfortable with this type of pressure and will guide the trainees through the restaurant service, every minute of which needs teamwork, communication and focus.

‘The Apprentice’

Always thought you would be able to avoid the boardroom?! The Apprentice challenges the team to conceive, market and present an inspiring product to our ‘board’ of judges.

An opportunity to fast-track product-development and test marketing and presentation skills, The Apprentice is a unique, fun-filled and challenging day for the team to enjoy!

At the end of the day, our chefs will prepare a meal to be enjoyed with a few glasses of wine to relax- a perfect day out of the office!

‘Field to Fork’

In an age when Social Responsibility is key, ESFW is delighted to offer it’s clients a unique cooking experience. Our ‘Field to Fork’ day gives clients the opportunity to visit Cyrenians Farm, where you will learn a little more about where our food comes from. After a morning of digging, picking and planting, the group will be shuttled back to our kitchens where you will prepare and cook a delicious meal with your organic harvest!

Not only will this day be fun-filled and educational but also gives back, as Cyrenians works closely with volunteers to maintain their much-loved community enterprise.
