These one day workshops are a balance of floral demonstrations and practical hands-on sessions, offering you the opportunity to create your own flower arrangements which you can take home at the end of the day.

A hands- approach helps develop and enhance your flower arranging skills. Learn how to create your own stunning displays for everyday or for those special occasions when a stunning arrangement will make all the difference.

Our floristry courses are designed and taught by award-winning Edinburgh florist Jackie Thomas.

Jackie qualified in Floristry & Floral Art and now has returned to Colleges - including Edinburgh School of Food & Wine to lecture to budding florists & enthusiastic amateurs.

Having set-up and run her own flower shop in Edinburgh for fifteen years she was awarded the "Best Retail Florist in Scotland & North England" by the Flower Council of Holland - the highest award for a flower shop issued and the only time to date this award has been bestowed on a Scottish Business.

Her excellent reputation has led to supplying flowers for major corporate events and royalty. To this day her work as a professional florist is on-going, specialising in weddings & events around Scotland & abroad.

Jackie now focuses primarily on her lecturing and has mentored pupils who have now even gone on to open their own floristry businesses in and around Edinburgh. She enjoys teaching, helping people young or old to acquire a new skill. Watching them & their knowledge bloom!
