This course is aimed at the more experienced bartender. It follows the syllabus set by the IBA and the certification is recognised by all 51 IBA member countries.

Now available in Scotland - the "Education Course" of the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild (UKBG) which is the only course held in the United Kingdom recognised by the International Bartenders' Association (IBA).

There are two levels: this Level 2 Advanced Course and the Level 1 Foundation Course.

This Level 2 course is run over 5 non-consecutive days and includes guest speakers from the world's leading spirits companies offering product knowledge and the opportunity to taste their product. Guest bartenders are also invited to participate and impart their knowledge and skills to participants.

A typical day starts at 10.00am with a series of lectures, including overhead projection displays and perhaps a video presentation.

After lunch, participants are requested to produce a range of classic and modern cocktails, under the supervision of experienced course tutors and using genuine quality products.

Our day finishes at 4.30pm. Participants are frequently requested to do some extra study in preparation for the next day.
