    Not suitable for sufferers of allergens: soya lecithin, milk, gluten, nuts, eggs or peanuts, as traces or substantial amounts are present in the ingredients we use. Artificial colourings will also be used.

    Throughout the day we will show you several simple fish preparation techniques such as cleaning, pin-boning, and cutting as well as a variety of cooking methods such as baking, broiling or simply sautéing.

    A great class to help you appreciate and get the best out of the fish caught by our hard-working Scottish fishermen.

    Christmas is a day to be enjoyed with loved ones!  We would like to help you enjoy your day by taking the stress out of cooking.

    Come and join us on this one-day “Stress Free Christmas Cookery” class.   We will demonstrate how to cook and carve a traditional roast turkey, you will then get stuck in with hands-on cookery covering sumptuous sides, delectable sauces, dessert and mulled wine to tantalise the tastebuds! 

    We will guide you on feeding large numbers and time management as these are key elements to keeping stress out your kitchen! 

    Once finished, we shall sit around the ESFW Christmas table and enjoy together!

    Advanced Chocolate Making Course

    Advanced Chocolate Making Course

    Led by Master Chocolatier, Shona Sutherland, of Taystful in Perthshire, this hands-on Advancing Skills Chocolate Course is a wonderful progression from the introductory Art of Chocolate Course at ESFW.

    With expert tuition you will learn a variety of advanced skills including how to hand decorate and airbrush chocolate moulds using cocoa butter colours (obtaining that much sought-after glossy surface shine and using masking stencils), discover some interesting and less usual ganache infusions using herbs and spices, create delicate butter ganache and fruit caramel, use a variety of chocolate making methods to suit a range of situations and of course strengthen previous skills such as tempering and casting moulds.

    All ingredients & equipment provided.

    Lunch and refreshments included.

    ALLERGENS: Please note that during the course we will be using ingredients containing allergens: soya lecithin, milk, gluten, nuts, sesame, eggs and peanuts - traces or substantial amounts are present in the ingredients we use. This is in addition to any allergens present in the kitchen.
