Foundation Course in Nutrition & Plant-Based Food.
Students will enjoy 6-weeks of hands-on cooking, recipe development, creativity and nutritional workshops, which will give each student a comprehensive understanding of the goodness of food, the importance of selecting great ingredients and how to prepare and create stunning dishes that are in keeping with the need to introduce more plants into our diets.
This course is for those wishing to develop a new kitchen repertoire, turn a passion into a profession or work within the food and publishing industries.
The course will also include weekly nutrition workshops, which will delve into the mechanism of human nutrition so that the food that you create is not only delicious but also rooted in the knowledge that it will deliver on nutrient density.

Students will delve into 6-weeks of hands-on practical cookery including knife skills and creating restaurant style dishes that are in keeping with introducing more plants into our diets.
Participants will create a vast range of courses from healthy raw canapés packed full of essential nutrients to fermented foods that promote gut health and the occasional indulgent dessert that could easily be found in a French patisserie.
The curriculum also includes weekly workshops which deliver comprehensive knowledge of the mechanism behind human nutrition.

If you are already following a plant based diet but are looking to increase your knowledge and gain confidence in the kitchen, this is the perfect opportunity to help you on your journey.
We will teach you the fundamentals of plant-based cookery and nutrition, as well as a good understanding of working in a kitchen, hygiene measures and organisation. The course will give you the confidence to understand your ingredients and adapt recipes in the future.
