The Edinburgh School of Food & Wine is Scotland’s oldest independent and respected cookery school, established in 1986.
Our experienced team of chef’s teach students a broad range of abilities, techniques and skills, for the complete novice to the aspiring professional.
Situated in The Coach House of the Newliston Estate, the school provides a perfect setting for our wide range of Educational Courses, One Day Cookery Classes, Food & Wine Evenings, Masterclasses, Leisure Activities and Corporate Events.
The school also provides a large selection of catering services include regular event at Newliston Estate in Kirkliston, Dundas Castle in South Queensferry and also in residence at Bute House, the home of the First Minster of Scotland.
ESFW attend many local community event and as well as our regular road shows at John Lewis and The Gyle shopping centre in Edinburgh, so you there is always an opportunity to meet the team and get a feel for life at the school.
The school is fully accredited by ICSA and we are working toward full SQA accreditation as well. We work with a range of business partners and organisations to provide educational students, one day cooking enthusiasts and event goers the best experience and knowledge while they are at the school.
